With the beginning of a new year, LIFE VIDALIA keeps the same mission of preserving Azorean Biodiversity.
In January the LIFE VIDALIA team made a trip to São Jorge island, which allowed quick visits to the populations of Vidalia and Lotus in this Island, this was very helpful in order to record the natural evolution of each of these rare plants cores.
LIFE VIDALIA includes five populations of Vidalia and one of Lotus in this island, all within the Natura 2000 Network.
